Our Favorite Games and Toys

It seems there is so much out there for kids these days.  I go into a toy store or down the toy aisles and get so overwhelmed.  So much of it is junk that will just fall apart or things they just won't play with.  Here are some of our favorite.

Toy Kitchen   All of my children love our toy kitchen.  Somewhere around 18 months is when they really start to play with it.  At almost five, my son still plays with our kitchen.  If you are looking for a "big gift" that will be well loved you can't go wrong with a kitchen.

Duplos My boys will play with duplos for hours and they are a fun toy for Bill and I to play with the boys as well.  Duplos work for both genders and inspire the mind to work.  I can't say enough good things about them.

Duplo Train  John Paul got this train for his second birthday and plays with it daily almost a year later.  It does take battery's and I typically shy away from toys that do; however, this is worth the exception.  Duplo also makes a deluxe train that I am sure is in John Paul's future.
